As each day seems to get warmer, and we start to come out of hibernation, we'll soon be greeted by a springtime favorite, the cherry blossom. Although we're sad to see winter coming to its end, its very ending is kind of beautiful in a "mono no aware" kind of way; a concept that is embodied in the fleeting beauty of the cherry blossom. Celebrated by
festivals and cherished for centuries as an emblem of love and affection, cherry blossom trees (also known as Sakura) have always been the perfect spot for meeting (at least in Japan anyway) - with friends and lovers celebrating, picnicking, and enjoying a few drinks underneath the lush blooms. They are also symbols of good fortune and so you can see why we think this is a brilliant theme for decor in the home or for your special event.
